  • VBAC Birth

“I cannot say enough about how wonderful Judith Ann is! She has attended two of my births (both VBACs), one at the hospital and one at home! She is so adaptable, kind, professional yet personal and for sure the most knowledgeable doula I have encountered. Her years of experience combined with her calming yet joyful presence bring such a peace and confidence to any birth space. She is like a light in every birth setting! She has always been incredibly supportive of my diverse and very customized birth wishes. Her presence and support have given me the confidence to advocate for what I was hoping my birth could be and it was a crucial piece to the puzzle in allowing me to experience births more amazing than I knew possible! Judith Ann brings a myriad of encouragement, prayers, support and love to every birth she attends, as well as so much knowledge and insight to each mother that she is supporting based on their diverse and individual backgrounds.”

  • Just Moved to TN

“My husband and I moved from out of state and were worried about transitioning to a new doctor during our first pregnancy. There were so many unknowns to navigate. We decided that we needed a Doula and could not be more grateful for Judith Ann. She eased our worries quickly by being a thoughtful listener and answering our many (many!) questions. She is also incredibly kind and compassionate, which is exactly what I needed through my pregnancy journey. When it was time for my labor and delivery, Judith Ann was there every step of the way by helping me work through contractions with movement and breathing and she kept me well informed on what was going on during my labor. I could not imagine my birth story without Judith Ann. Judith Ann’s compassion, expertise and calm presence makes her such an incredible Doula and an asset to any pregnancy, labor & delivery and postpartum care.”

  • Repeat Client

“Judith Ann was pivotal to my birth experience. So much so, that she was in the top 3 people we first told when we learned we were pregnant with our second child because I couldn’t fathom having another without her there and wanted to make sure she marked her calendar! I have such positive things to say about my labor and birth, I have zero trauma and it was a truly an amazing experience — I can honestly say that a big part of that was having Judith Ann as our Doula. There is no way I can put into words how it feels to have someone on your team in the midst of something so big and new and unknown. She wasn’t only there for me, she was there for my husband helping us both understand the things happening in the room. The amount of comfort her presence gave me in a room full of strangers is unmatched. I knew I could look at her and trust that she knew my birth plan and the things I wanted out of my birth experience and she always advocated for me, which gave me the strength to focus on my labor. She not only guided us through those events but stayed on the journey with me through postpartum and became a friend I could confide in and go to for recommendations.”

  • BRM Sessions

Laura who reached out to me at 38 weeks & 3 days gestation, upon learning her baby was breach. She worked with me for 2 BRM sessions, a couple days apart, and after our second session her midwife confirmed that baby was head down and she was cleared for a vaginal. “Hi Judith Ann! I am thanking God for this healthy baby girl and a vaginal delivery. I ended up just letting my body go into labor on its own along with continuing the exercises/stretches that I learned from you, going to the chiropractor, trying to walk every day and lots of prayer from family and friends. Thank you so much for all of your help and encouragement along the way. I am just starting to recognize how stressful all that was with not knowing her position for two weeks prior and then the midwives at the birthing center trying to get me to do an ECV or C-section. I am so thankful for your knowledge to help me make a decision at that time. Also, love the program you teach pregnant mamas to try to assist with a better labor/delivery. Sooo important.”

  • Class Attendees

“Judith Ann is a lifesaver! As a first time mom, I was scared and frantic to find education as I was flying blind! Judith Ann provided educational classes via teleconference for me and my husband to work with our busy schedules. Her classes provided us with invaluable, precise information that allowed us to feel prepared and knowledgeable for our labor and delivery. Her classes provided me with a clear path for our birth experience, was tailored to our needs and desires, and I couldn’t be more grateful. We will be using her again for our next little one!”

  • Traumatic C-Section

“I thank my God every time I remember you.” (Philippians 1:3 NIV) I can’t begin to explain how amazing Judith Ann was as my doula. After a traumatic emergency C-section with my first daughter in 2021, I knew I needed an experienced doula to attend my second birth. Throughout my pregnancy Judith Ann educated, encouraged and supported me. During labor Judith Ann not only supported me, but also my husband. Judith Ann was so skilled and knowledgeable, I directed every question to her. I felt safe and secure knowing she was there with me. She helped me into every position possible, encouraged me and motivated me to keep going. She spoke scripture over me and prayed for me when I asked her to. After nine hours of unmedicated, natural labor, I gave birth to my eight and a half pound baby girl. I got the vbac I had been preparing and praying for. I know wouldn’t have without Judith Ann. I’m so thankful for her and I thank God for Judith Ann!”
